metal halide apinion

looking for some feed back.
i have been a vho lighting fan for years, its time to change, this is what im thinking,i have a 180reef tank.
thinking of using three 250w 20,000k and four six foot vho,two actinic and two aqua sun?

VHO is getting passed up with T5 being so popular and more efficient. But since you have the VHO stuff, I see no reason to use it. Especially with the Actinics as T5 super/pure actinic is really T5's only weak lamp. It just doesnt seem to have to color of VHO 420nm. Only thing is that I'm not sure that two VHO Aqua Suns would be enough to offset all the blue you will have from 3 X 250 watt 20000K and the 2 VHO actinics. Depends how much blue you want and how blue the 20000K's that you choose are. But all in all, I dont see why that lighting wouldnt support whatever you want to keep.
