Has very poor PAR. less PAR than the XM 20k bulb and doesn't look much different. I would just go with the XM 20k or use another brand of 15kish bulbs. AB 13k and Iwasaki 15k and 10k reflux are some of the best but may not be blue enough for you. reflux 12k, ushio 14k and hamiltons are bluer but PAR will suffer.

i would have to agree that the XM 15k is not a good bulb, it might look good, but has aweful par
