Permeate Pump for RODI systems, worth it??
Hey all,
My RO system is not efficent at all. In my research looking for a no-waste RODI system I stumbled across this website: Permeate Pump This pump claims to use water flow and resistance to increase your water usage by 80% while maintaining longevity of your filter life. Anyone have any experience with this, or words of wisdom that can help? Thanks in advance __________________

I had one and did not care for it. I ended up selling it and getting a booster pump. IMO/IME skip the permeate pump and get a booster. I could not be happier with my booster pump.

does anyone else have experience w/ both a booster pump and a permeate pump, which is recommended?
Also, does the booster pump cut down on waste water? because that is a primary concern of mine. thanks

waste water and output of a r/o is determinded by SEVERAL factors....mainly by the incoming water pressure in your house,apartment...........along with water temp,GPD of the unit, ect.
What is you current incoming psi to the R/O? this would be good info to provide for others to make a educated choice... in my mind get a booster pump if water pressure is really low or use the permeate pump if pressure is at or slightly lower than optimal pressure.
