Sneaky Shrimp

This morning I woke up early and happened to turn on the light in my tank, and I saw a whitish brownish lil thing swimming around, it darteed into the rockwork afetr about 10 seconds but looks like a mantis shrimp to me. I have absolutely NO desire to pull apart the tank to get him out, but now I'm scared to put my hands in the tank. Any ideas on how to trap him, or am I pretty much SOL if I don't pull out the rock? The one rock where I saw him go into a lil cranny is (of course) one of the base rocks at the bottom of the whole thing.
What would you do?

It is easy if you can remove rock. Since you don't want to move rock, you can try trap it by using a funnel type device with bait, but I never had any luck with these.

Yeah, that was my old username. Sometimes its better to double post on forums, ups the response rate :P

I do find better answers on this forum, but sometimes faster answers on the other.

I thought so. And I completely agree, get advice from many and sort out what you think works best for you.
