Need a good sandbed cleaner
I have a hand full of queen conchs.. i have a hand full of fighting conchs... i also have a dark brown spiked cucumber.... but these guys arent getting the whole job done.
I get alot of detrius build up on the left and right side of the tank. I dont want anything that can deplete the sand bed like a sand sifting star.. Can i hear some suggestions? PS i have no algae or anything on the sand.. just want something that eats detrius... I added a green brittle star last week. |

I wouldn't have added that Green Brittle star...they are a predator pure and simple and will eat just about anything they can catch. As for a detritud eater I have a Tiger Tail Cucumber that does a good job and if you want something larger I've heard Medusa worms are very good detritus eaters as well. Watch that Green Brittle star!!!

there maybe another way if you increase the flow the detrius will not fall to the sand hopefuly then it can be skimmed out
