Some of those pictures were really cool. It's amazing that she said there is between 10 and 30 million undiscovered species.

It just amazes me that our government spends billions of dollars to put a go-cart on mars just to confirm what we already know. When there is a whole world under our oceans that we dont know anything about!

But then someone would turn around and say the same thing if we were doing it in the oceans. We didn't know nearly as much about Mars before we landed Rovers on it.

Thanks for the video BTW... I wish they spent more time on the images!

Great video, that's the main reason why I like this hobby- it gives us an opportunity to see creatures that we would otherwise consider alien, from the comfort of our own homes. TinMan

Awesome shots, forget about Blue Rings, I want a Dumbo Octopus!

I remember seeing on discovery channel that the funding for one day in outer space could fund deep sea dives for a year. We probably wont ever fully explore our oceans before we wipe ourselves out.

Heres an intereting bit: http://findarticles.com/p/articles/m...50/ai_18674354

LOL I thought it was a pokemon when I saw that Dumbo Octopus!

I had no idea about the funding issue... Who wouldn't trade 30 days of space exploration for 30 years of deep sea funding??

It's strange to think that only 2 people have ever been to the deepest point in the ocean and only stayed there less than 20 minutes. Meanwhile, 12 people have been to the moon and stayed there for a total of more than 3 days.
