why do you want a HOT skimmer when you have a sump? Even the "best" HOT skimmer can compete with an average insump skimmer

I think the only HOT skimmer that is rated for your size tank is the Deltec MCE600. I have the Deltec MCE300 on a 20G and it works great.

Go "In-Sump"
I have an AGA 29-gallon tall tank that has been converted to a sump.
My first skimmer was a Remora with the upgraded MJ-1200 pump and a pre-skimmer filter box. I placed it on the side of my sump and it was unproductive. This unfortunate result was due in part to the lower water level of the sump that causes the pump to work harder and leave less pressure for foam production. HOT skimmers, like the Remora, prefer main aquarium tanks where the water levels are closer to the rim. I measured the Deltec MCE600 and MCE300 HOT skimmers to see if they would fit my sump cabinet. Unfortunately, both of them sit high enough above the rim that I would not be able to remove their collection cups. Finally, I purchased a Tunze 9010, which is compact enough to fit inside the small overflow compartment of my sump. Do measure the footprint that an in-sump skimmer must fit into and see if the Tunze 9010 will work. Be sure to measure the Tunze’s footprint with the optional vertical exhaust pipe. The Tunze 9010 is a stronger skimmer when configured for “in-sump” mode with the vertical exhaust pipe. |

I would go with an external recirculating skimmer if you do not have room in the sump. You do have a little room in the stand right?
They are generally better than most internal skimmers, much less HOT.....
