can someone ID this for me?

what is the stuff that looks like red hair algea and the red things that look like red leaves below it ?

both some form of red marco algea, looks harmless to me, i dont have it with me, but im sure its in the julian sprung book

Im really not familiar with algae, but THIS is a great site to do a bit of searching through. Hope it helps.

the lower one looks like Gaulaxaura at least above and to the right of the couple chaeto curlies where I can see a clear leaf view. could be some kind of Gracilaria too. you probably will see better when it grows out a little more.

the upper one may be non descript red turf algae. there's a million of them, or it may grow out into something more id'able too.
