I need advice on flow rate

I have 2 seio 820 powerheads, a maxijet 1200, and a wavemaker in a 90g tank.I'm just wondering if that's enough flow.

Is this a sps tank?Is this a BB or DSB? I have an 80 gallon BB with 3 koralia 4's, 1 seio 2600 and a scwd closed loop. I still think I need some more flow in some areas.

There are so many people with different opinions on this. I've increased the flow in my reef a number of times in the more than three years since I set it up. This was partly due to not paying sufficient attention and lack of knowledge on the issue in the beginning and partly because I expected to have only some mushrooms in the tank. But, as time went by and I added more and more different kinds of coral to the tank, I increased the flow to the now 40X that there is in there. I think even more would be appropriate for my reef, but that's because it's loaded with rockwork and it seems to me that reduces the overall benefit of the amount of flow in the tank. I am considering increasing it further in the immediate future.

I calculate that you have just about 20X flow and that may well be enough for you depending on the amount of rockwork you have. If it isn't so loaded it's more likely that the 20X could suffice, especially if you don't keep SPS. But, I think, no matter what you'd still benefit from more flow, if only to keep sediment and detritus from settling on the rock.

thanks guys. I have some zoas, kenya trees, gsp, mushrooms for the most part. I do notice some junk on the rocks time to time so maybe I should get even more flow.
