Skunk Clean Shrimp Molting...

How often should a skunk cleaner shrimp molt? I've had mine for about two months and it's already molted 3 times. Is this normal?

Can be. I don't think there is a specific amount the will or won't molt. Mine seems to molt all the time, especially around water changes.

Iodine will make shrimp molt faster than normal, sometimes to the point of killing them. If you are dosing iodine, make sure you are testing your water.

If you are not adding iodine and just doing water changes, then the shrimp should be fine.

Thanks to both of you. I'm not dosing; just doing water changes.
