WTB: WaveMaker - WaveMaker Gen Discussion

Title says it all. I want to get something that isnt such a constant direct flow like a stationary powerhead.

I really dont know much about them so anyone have an horror stories with these things?

PM with your price and location.

Thanks

Josh

I think they are ugly, but they definately move water... Maybe someone can paint the box to look more marinish... make it invisible or something...

I have been thinking about this myself. I think the best option out there is the tunze wavebox. It isnt overly intrusive, not too bad looking, and it creates movement all over the tank. Cost is somewhere around $500 HTH

Im thinking I might go with the Tunze too... But the price - talk about using your brand name to gouge the market.

But I am kind of concerned b/c my overflow is on the right (as you are looking at the tank) and I dont know what the wave is going to do to the overflow when it goes back and forth
