6025 stoped working

i turned off the pump when i turned the pump back on their was some rattling and it wouldn't stop so i turned it off then on again the noise stopped and i thaught no big deal. the next morning i noticed it wasn't working at all. i took it apart and found a little silver washer loose inside. does this go on the plastic under the magnet? could i just glue it back in place? also could the moter be damaged by running without the prop spinning?

gosaints,

Yes the washer goes at the bottom of the stainless steel shaft and should not be glued, also check the shaft is firm in the motor block. The motor block should not be damaged by this.

Regards
Graeme
