120 question - please advise
I have a chance to purchase a 120 gallon perfecto tank with solid pine stand and glass canopy for $499.
First, I would like to know what everyone thinks of perfecto tanks, and if this is a good price. Also, I dont know if the bottom is tempered. Is there any way I can find out? I'd rather drill the bottom than the side. Thanks for any input on perfecto and how it compares to All-Glass and Marineland. |

The bottom is almost always tempered.

Perfecto is Marineland or the other way around I am not sure. I also just purchased Perfecto 120G (48*24*24) with corner flow but haven't come in yet. The manager at LFS told me it's tempered bottom glass for this tank. I just have to double check it with Perfecto customer rep. to make sure.
Some one says you put on sunglasses and take a look at the glass. If there's a pattern lines (like ones on car windshield) it's tempered. |
