Removing Coral From Frag Plug
Due to the design this frag plug doesn't work in my tank. I have no holes and my sand bed isn't deep enough so the frag keeps falling over. Is there a way to remove the actual coral piece (with rock)? I also don't like the fake look it adds to the tank.

it will grow around the plug, i would leave it the way it is and find an appropriate way to attach it.

If you really wanted to remove the fake look, I would trim the plug, rather than remove the coral. Then, putty the small portion of the frag plug to rock, covering the un-natural look. This leaves the coral attached, saving stress on the coral and hassle for yourself getting it to attach again.
