lighting question for a 30 gal tall

I am just setting up a new reef tank and i have a 125 w coralife mh the tank is a 30gal tall and i am hoping to use the light i already have. I only want to keep softies, mush, zoo's, and a bubble coral will this be enough light. also does anyone make t5 atinics that are only 24 in long. thanks for your help

that light will be fine for that size tank, and what your planing to keep. and yes iv seen lots of 24" actinics in Canada so I'm sure you could find them wherever you are, try a search at a good online retailer, you should find some.

what would be my limitations with just the mh light and do you think i need some t5 atinics for the dawn dusk time period

i have a 250 watt MH 14000k in my 30gal, its great but im trying to keep sps, you should be fine with what youve got. it is nice to have the most options with the brighter light.
