New to the Hobby!

Hello everyone, i am new to the saltwater and reef aquariums, and i was wondering if I could get some help. I know the fish I want and I know the Coral I want:

CORAL-
Bubble Coral
Pipe Organ
Torch Coral
Pulsing Xenia

FISH-
3 stripe damsel
domino damsel
Blue Velvet Damsel
(2) Ocellaris Clows
Green Mandarin Draggonette
Hippo Tang
Yellow Tang

Now my LFS which is "That Fish Place" a very well known high quality store said that 55 gallon tank was good, and about 220 watts of lighting was sufficient for it. On that note, what other equipment do you reccomend for my desired reef? And any informational reef-setup articles would be extremely helpful!
Thanks,
Brett

IMO I would not get the damsels they get big fast and become very agressive and eat everything sooner or latter i realy like my mh but there are alot of people who really like t5 lights one thing for sure take it slow dont add everything at one time as for the mandarin i would not add it until the tank has been up for at least a year and a sump is a must with lots of pods i say this beacuse i learned the hard way as for the tags a 55 is really to small for 1 let alone 2 but if you must go with the yellow and get a small one and hopfully some day there will be an up grade dont take nothing i said to heart as this is all my thoughts and i am far from an expert im just using my experinces to try and help

All the corals will be fine with the lighting set up.As far as fish yellow tangs and hippos get to big for a 55.And a draggonette should not be added for about a year and haveing at ton of live rock. The damsels may fight all damsels are mean and clowns being damsels may fight with the other damsels.I would go with the clowns maybe firefish, royalgramma, goby of some kind, sixline wrasse or a flasher wrasse but dont mix the two. Hope this helps

I just want to comment on the blue velvet damsel. I remember buying a youn one years ago. I thought it was beautiful. Then it got big and mean and all the beautiful color faded and disappeared.
