To Reef Central Tangs are a bit on the sketchy side for a 75, two would be out of the question IMO... also, lighting 2X175 or even 2X250 might be better choices. I felt my 75 was on the low side at 2X175.. I also dislike hermit crabs as they invariably end up killing snails for their shells... Star fish..... I would probably pass on that animal, serpent stars are not a bad choice but the can turn predatory as they get large. Excellent garbage collectors however Mandarin after a good 8 or 9 months "maybe" I had about 100Lbs of rock in a 75 and it was sort of borderline for the guy..

I come from the conservative side of Tang ownership... I have kept tangs in 4' tanks but they have typically had issues with aggression etc.
I now would only keep a tang in a 6' tank. I think the length of tank has as much to do with them as gallons. These fish are lightning fast and need a bit of room IMO. Not saying it can not be done in a 4' tank, I just feel 6' is a better choice
