Drilling glass- Are biocubes made of tempered glass

Want to drill a biocube. I want to know is it made of temepered glass?

GO buy to a cheap pair of polarized shades look at the tank if you see waves or spots like you do when you look at a car window with polarized shades its tempered if not chances are its not. Id say this method is about 90% correct on telling you if its tempered or not.
