Anthias can be shy at first. Give it time, and make sure they aren't been bullied by an aggressive fish. All of the fish that you have listed are known to be aggressive and territorial.

What type of anthias is it, there are many, some can handle more aggression than others.

Purple anthias are very hard to maintain. They do require peaceful tankmates and all of the other fish you mentioned can and will bully the anthias. Try moving around the rockwork and turning the lights off for a while. Have you gotten it to eat yet? Thats a lot of fish for a 55g too.

Purple are one of the most difficult. You might want to see if you can trade for some lyretail anthias. Give them another day and make sure nobody is bullying them. Anthia.s do hide a lot the first day you place them in a new tank

As has been mentioned they are exceedingly difficult to get to eat in the best of circumstances. Best bet to get them eating is some frozen cyclop-eze that has been defrosted. Introduce some several times throughout the day. Also fresh hatched brine shrimp nauplii might be worth a try.
