what size of tank should I get

I have somehow convinced my wife that I need a 125 gallon FO tank although I would have to find a pretty good price to make it work. I am wanting to put as many starfish, angel fish, tangs, and clown into the tank as possible. How many of the above fish would I be able to keep with a 5' long 94 gallon tank and what could I do with a 6 foot 125 gallon?

not to many, the fo tanks look better when they have a humuhumu trigger or a clown trigger many of the fish you listed will fight if their are more than two of the same speciese

no more than 2 clowns of the same species is the rule. I'll let others answer the rest.

Your right, the humu humu trigger would look amazing, I will be doing one of those for sure. how many of these larger fish can I keep in a 94 gallon and how many can I keep in a 120? I found a 94 gallon that I might get this week and could have up and running right away, otherwise I will have to wait to find a deal on a 120 gallon.

I would wait for the 120. The bigger the tank the better.

In SW tanks the answer to how many fishes is difficult to answer.
Example-- You can have about 8 fishes, but not more then one or two tangs, one or two clowns, only one hawk fish or one angel, ect. Then you may have a tang that does not bother the other fishes but always chases the angle, or visa-versa.

A six foot tank is always better for larger size fish. Wait, you will be glad you did.

The larger the tan kthe better of course! The amount of fish between the sizez listed is IMO going to be about the same. Almost impossible to give a hard number on the amount of fish. That all depends on what kind of fish you are going to get as some of the fish listed get very large fairly quickly. Also something not mentioned yet, keeping the stars will make you treat your tank as if it were a reef tank minus the lighting when it comes to medicating, water qulity parameters etc. May be best to stick with fish to simplify things.
