ClownFish Problems!!!!!
I just recently bought my first fish for my fully cycled 29 gallon biocube. i went down to my LFS and bought a Tomato clownfish, a fireshrimp, and 4 hermit crabs. My clown fish will not leave the right hand corner of the tank. he only eats if the sinking pellets i bought him get close enough to him where he doesnt have to leave. I was wondering why he wont leave that corner. I thought that since the water return pump was on the opposite side of the tank, he doesnt like the heavy flow. Does any have any ideas on what is happening here?

My bet is that the clownfish is still adjusting to it's new home. In time, it should venture out. Clowns I've kept did the same thing.

Just give him some time. Most fish will sulk for a little while until they are comfortable in their new home. Probably just stressed out a little still.

My clowns stayed in one corner for about 2 weeks after I first bought them. I would not worry about it.

Maxijets are good powerheads. A lot of people here would agree that tunze ones are good too.
