Temp range?

My tank is stable at 81-83.7 deg. without a chiller. Is this ok? Or should I invest in a chiller?

IMO 83.7 is close to danger. I have a Vornado fan on mine. Keeps it at 80 - 81.

You should be fine. Mine sits at a constant 82ºF. It used to swing from 80-84 on a daily basis until I got the fans setup just right.

your fine. i had mine like that for awhile with no problems at all. try running a fan across the water if your worried, a cheap one will do. its brought min down to a steeady 80 deg.

85-86 I'd say is close to danger. 83 is more normal than 80 is.

Keep the swing, its better for your tank.
