A dead nem will really foul your water.
Sometimes when they split they look like they are about to die. I'd keep a close eye, and pull b4 it turns to mush. Check params, and post pics if you can.

Yeah we lost a few inverts, snails, hermit crabs and one skunk cleaner shrimp. After a few water changes I think the tank is back to normal now. Our only cerith snail that survived has laid some eggs. I doubt they grow up to be a free clean up crew. Even though the anemone caused some inverts to die..the fish are still alive and well.

Nah it was just changing its water..it can look like that for several hours. How you can really tell if its dead is that it feels like slime and not sticky. slime bad ..sticky good..lol

My rbta wouldn't eat for a while after we bought it I was afraid it was going to starve it self to death like my gbta. I have finally got it to eat some thing last monday. How long have you had this bta? They need some time to get use to its new home but don't go without feeding it for too long. Mine wouldn't grab the food with its tentacles. So I put the little piece of silverside against its mouth untill its mouth started pulling the food in. Try to make the silver side piece really small. If it takes the food then feed it a small piece every day or every other day untill it starts taking the food to its mouth on its own. Since I have been doing this, I am already seeing some improvement in my anemone. If silversides don't work try mysis usually anemones will still eat those if they won't eat krill or silversides...oh yeah and don't force the food into its mouth because it can damage it. I am no anemone expert but this is what I am doing to bring mine back to health. If you need any other information.. I would go to www.karenroseanemones.com and ask Karen..she knows a lot about bta's
