I have a royal gramma and a yellow watchman goby in my 10g. The yellow watchman goby has a lot of personality which definately makes up for his lack of color.

The flaming prawn goby usually trades around $150, when you can find one... Try harder anguswu...
What about the firefish? Usually around $10, or less ?

Wow......Flaming prawn goby.......very nice fish except i'm a guitar collector, not a fish one.
On Live Aquaria, the minimum size for a royal gamma is 30G. What about the Golden neon goby, jumpers? Firefish.........jumpers say Live Aquaria Looks like most nano fishs are jumpers. I'm not planning a lid on my tank. Don't know really, what about your experience? Thanks |

Gobys shouldn't jump.
You could always try a pistol shrimp- and goby, and get lots of fun watching them pair up. Any blenny will also not jump and will make a good addition

themartin, My royal gramma is doing fine in a 10g. Yeah it is probably a good idea to pay attention to tank size reccomendations. but some fish can get by in smaller tanks. of course they would do better in a larger one. saltwaterstart has a good idea for the pistol shrimp/goby pair. that would probably give you hours of entertainment.

Check out Trimma gobies. There are several different species available now and they are all great nano fish.

Personaly, I like Firefish, neat little critters, that seem to look good in any display. Not sure about jumping though, since I've never actually kept one.
