Mod for in sump Proclear 150 protein skimmer
Are there any worthwhile modifications for the proclear 150 protein skimmer?
Does it need a bigger pump? More air? |

Thanks for the help. I'll give it and try and see if I can do it.

I only did the airling tube and enlarge the hole behind the air inlet to 1/8. I would guess it increased skimmate 35-40% so far.

Are you running 3/8 hose or 1/4 inch hose? I changed mine and it worked for the first couple of hours producing nice skimmate but then the foam receeded. Any ideas?
