The journal of Siamreefclub's tank

Well, let me briefly explain the story of this tank.
It is the second tank of our club.
First tank was run for almost one year and then something is unexpected wrong in June. Most of corals like Xenia, mushroom, Zoanthid kept dying in two to three days even we tried to do water change for so many times. But fishes are all okay.
So we decided to built the larger and better-equipped tank.
The project has started in early July.

18/7/07 New tank is coming. The dimension is 60"w x 30"d x 30"h

Always nice to watch someones build. Is the Burma Reef Club aware of this?

One point though. The intake of you Iwaki pump is very restricted. Larger inlet pipe , especially with an elbow so close ,will increase it's performance as well as possibly lower its operating temperatures.
