calicification on snail shells?
I'm beginning to notice what looks like calcification on some of my snail shells, or something white on them? I've recently added a kalk reactor but do not have abnormally high CA++ or alkalinity, any direction?

Do you have a picture, or can you explain it better? As snails grow, they will get new, white growth around the opening of the shell, but if there is a white or even pearlescent look around the shell or towards the apex then it is just wear and tear.
