What is this?

I made a thread 3 days ago asking about ich.. Yes I am a noob when I comes to illnesses. I've never really had to deal with them, so I don't know much. So I put the emperor in hypo and he's doing better. The ich is gone and his appetite is even stronger, but now there are white discolored spots all over him. It isn't the salt look, but more like larger spots. Here are some pictures.

Now ich is sub dermal, yes? So are these just spots from the ich breaking out of the skin? Or something else? There sure is a lot of it, but he always looks his very worst in the morning... 95% of the spots just appeared over night. He looked nearly good as new last night.

I thought velvet was tiny tiny spots (smaller than ich) that gave the fish a hazy look??

I know patience patience, but I'm kind of freaking here if this is velvet. It's been an hour- is no one responding because they AGREE it's velvet or does everyone just not know? Can anyone say it's NOT velvet?

I've just never known velvet to look like this! I've always heard it described as tiny "dust" that is possibly gold/rust in color...

No one? I really don't want to lose this fish and need a definite ID on this if I'm going to treat it... I don't want to start treating him for velvet if he doesn't have it. I can't even find any actual photos of what velvet is supposed to look like. I'm only getting descriptions.
