Help with coral ID please

This came as a hitchhiker on my rock, just wondering if anybody knows what kind it is.

You got that as a hitchhiker? Really?

It looks like Goniopora sp, a notoriously difficult LPS coral to keep alive for more than a few months, as its husbandry requirements are mostly unknown. Alveopora is a close relative, and is easier to keep. Goniopora has 24 petals on each stalk, whereas Alveopora has 12.

Alveopora, aka flowerpot coral similar to goniopora, it's quite an aggressive coral...

Nice hitchhiker, although they live from 6 mos to a year.

Nice hitch hiker------keep the placement where it is---and feed it cyclopeeze twice a week---those polyps are searching for a meal right now.
You don't have to necessarily spot feed it --just put the cyclopeeze in the tank and turn off the main pump for 45 min to an hour.
If you have a power head in the tank you should keep it on to circulate the cyopeeze

The real question is where did you get your rock from?
