corals dinner time

How long should i guard my corals while they eat?, my hernits and shrimp don´t let them eat in pease
I´ve got a trumpet, pieapple brain and a hammer.

What I do is drop pellets in for the shrimp and hermits just to distract them then I direct feed my corals with no problems.

I feed the corals in the evening after the halides have gone off. I use mysis and cyclopeeze. I turn the main pump off in the sump and keep the power heads going. I let them feed for 45 min before turning back on the main pump.
I also feed the fish at the same time--plenty for all this way.
