Best fish to get with the fish I have

I have a 75 gallon reef tank. In there I only have two fish; a Black Cap Basselet and a Clown Fish.
What would be the best companions for these guys and how many more fish could I add?
I have about 60lb of live rock and a few corals. The rest are hermits and snails.

You could get a mate for the clown. If the clown has been there for a few months it has most likely already turned female. Just make sure to get a small juvenile of the same species and you'll have a male with which to make babies. As far as anything else goes, I could tell you which to avoid (other clown species/more than one other male, other basselets/dottybacks/grammas, anything that could swallow them whole) but I don't know of any other fish that would actually interact with your current fish. So companions is stretching it; fish that will tolerate each other is what you'll get. As far as a number goes, that depends upon what else you get. Personally, I prefer to only buy captive bred stock (which greatly limits what there is to choose from).

A smaller tang, possible a tomini or something smaller.
maybe you could a little shrimp goby like a yellowwatchman.

I just looked through your pics and it looks like you have a yellowtang and a little blue damsel.
Do you have them anymore?

oh cool, I bet you were glad to get rid of the damsel, they are a pain to catch.

I've got a Brazilian gramma and an ocellaris in my 90g, they get along nicely with a swallowtail angel, yellow tang, pistol shrimp/goby combo, sand-sifting goby, a Talbot's damsel (peaceful, tiny damsel), and a South Seas damsel. I'm adding a midas blenny (he's in the QT right now), and will be adding a sixline wrasse and cherub or flameback angel in the future.

Hopefully that gives you an idea of what should work with your two fish. Don't forget about inverts either - urchins, shrimp and crabs can add a lot of entertainment value and colour to your reef. I've got a CBS and pincushion urchin that probably get more oohs and ahhs from friends and family than all the fish combined.

I agree with getting a mate for the clownfish. I have a mater pair and they are great to watch together.
