Please Help - Sick Fish - Need a Remedy

Used

Here is what I have done already:
1: CopperSafe - 1 Week - Did not work
2. Two freshwater dips - Did not work
3. Mardel Maricide treatment for Ick - Did not work
4. Currently trying Mardel fungicide treatment for true fungal infections.

I originally thougt this was Ick but after the spots started to grow I decided it was not.

If you have some advice I would sure appreciate it!

Thanks!

It is currently in quarantine. I am not sure what hyposalinity means?

Try here: Hyposalinity

And here: Another Reference

Lower your specific gravity very gradually over a 72 hour period (see the 2nd reference) to about 1.01 and keep the temp between 79-82°F. Do regular hyposalinity water changes for 4 weeks following the disappearance of the ich (or whatever it is you have) then gradually raise the salinity back up to your tank level.

Keep a close eye on whatever other fish you may have in your display tank too unless you intend to pull them all immediately.

Disclaimer: I'm just a newbie with google access and too much spare time. If a veteran chimes in with different advice, then disregard everything I've just typed

A closer pictures of the lesions would be helpful but it appears like a lymphocystis infection (try googleing it and see what you think). It is a viral infection which will have to run its course. Most fish will recover uneventfully if lesions do not involve the mouth to prevent feeding or the gill area hindering respiration.

Maintain optimal water quality and feed him the very best you can. Fresh foods with garlic and/or beta glucan may stimulate his immune system to help fight it off.

I agree that it looks like lymphocystis.

I just googled it and I think your right? Lymphocystis! It says no cure but is there any thing I can do to help like use a antibiotic to help with secondary infection. If so, what kind?

If the fish is behaving normally, I don't see a need to add antibiotics unless it develops sings of infection (lesions ulcerate, red streaks or blotches). Treatment with antimicrobials unnecessarily leads to antibiotic resistant organisms which are very difficult to deal with.

The best course of action is to keep up with your water quality and feed a high quality diet. Try the garlic and beta glucan if you want to "medicate" with something. It will most likely improve with a little tincture of time

It's definetly lymphocystis. Good nutrition, good water quality and it should clear up. Try soaking food in garlic extract before feedings.
