Dwarf lionfish setup

i have a 30 gallon hex reef tank. after a combination of a 2 week vacation, pet sitter, and heat wave, i lost my fish and some coral. i have the tank back up and running and have it re-stocked with various mushrooms and polyps and a hammer coral. I would like to add either a single dwarf zebra lionfish or antennata lionfish. I have re-worked the rockwork to include a cave. For the most part i have seen that people recommend 30 gallons as a minimum. However, i have seen a few people recommend at least a 40 gallon tank. Would I be able to safely add one of these dwarf species to my tank? If so, any recommendations between the two species. Thanks.
