Fragging problem
Hi.
I´ve started the fragging buisness, but i´m having problems. i´m using tooth pick, string and a tile along with super glue. My tooth pick how ever always splits my frag in two causing it to die, what am i doing wrong?

What species of corals are you trying to frag? Got any pictures of your technique?

Are you sure they're actually dead? Most softies will wilt right up after fragging, but will usually rebound after a few days.

What do you mean by "wilt right upp"?

the toothpick may be too big for the frag, use mesh or needle in thread and see if it works better for you. I've also rubberbanded a few corals. just my 2 cents

You dont have to but if you do its easy, just tug it out. Depending on the coral I usually just cut it flush and the coral will grow over it and you'll never know it was there.
