pondmaster pumps loud???

boght a new 3600 pondmaster but its loud as hell. anyone use this pump?

I've used various magdrives and other pondmaster prouducts. here's what I did to keep mine silent.






can't tell from the photo's but where the pvc contacts the actual pump, I have the sponge material that came with it stuck in there, I don't notice this pump running at all and everyone I spoken to about them say their super loud, so guess it's working nicely for me.

yes, most mags are loud, but they are cheap..........so you sorta get what you pay for. There are much better alternatives, some are actually cheaper in the lower flow range and in the high flow range most likely you will spend more, but get much better pumps. With a mag of that size make sure you are using large plumbing. Restrictive plumbing can definitely cause the pumps to be louder than normal.
