Ideas for a 20L

Ok I'm running a 2.5 gallon tank with a mantis in it but am wanting to upgrade to a 20L I'm gonna make it very artsy. It will be a rimless and on one side a single tower with coral and LR and such then a sand bed(like a mini great valley ) then on the other side have about 5-8 mangroves. I am planning on using a small corallife light for the coral side then some sort of light for the mangrove(need a little help with that). Then I am planning on drilling holes in the bottom of the tank for a cannister filtration unit rated for about 45 gallon tanks(still looking), as I do not want anything hanging on the tank or in the tank but the livestock and mangroves. I need a little help with what I need or missing here. Any and all advice is welcome,as I've only had a 2.5 gallon tank. Also the live stock would only be a mantis shrimp(N wennerae) hermits and snails and maybe a fish.

Well, be sure to get a 20g that you can actually drill the bottom of it. Alot of brands have tempered glass on the bottom and that usually doesn't go over well with drilling. The mangroves will need good lighting as well, I'd imagine you could use a single fixture for both, just remember plants like the midday spectrums while corals may do fine under those, the color will not be as nice looking than under something more blue.

Yeah I Know some tank are tempered but I have one siting around that I have been growing indoor bonsai with there own lighting system for about a year now so I wanted to combine the two. Salt water tank with bonsai mangrove I just trying to come up with a clean looking tank(it's the only way my wife will go for it(as I already have a 90G vivarium set up in our house ). Also the coralife have artnic and like 10k bulb so I know I'm cool with those but I just looking for a good bulb for the mangrove and a good filtration.
