mysterious disappearance

can cleaner shrimps eat live fishes thats healthy and about a half inch bigger than they are?

I've got two of the cleaner shrimp both about an inch and a blue damsel that was about 1 and a half inches long. Woke up this morning and my blue damsel is gone! I checked in my over flow boxes, and sump nothing. I have no power heads just a wavy sea that stirs everything up in my tank. I have false percs, a domino, live rocks and zoas and some other corals.

any input would be greatly appreciated.

I've had 2 or three mystery disappearances. No body found. If it died it's likely the inverts and fish in your tank have taken care of the body. But really it's anyone's guess. It still might just show up.....

If it turns out to be the shrimps that got 'em, there are some folks that would love to rent them for their tanks! Hope he turns up for ya.

Cleaner shrimp won't kill any fish.

I have a mean, bully yellow tail damsel that I can't get out my tank even with a complete rock removal. I wish he would self combust into oblivion.

Bought 3 Cardinals in May, 2 paired up and the other one was a lonneer, after about 4 weeks I never saw the lonner, Saturday there he was, after all this time, over flows are covered so he must have just been in hidding for 2 months. Now my Potters Angel is missing.Bob
