Id help sorry no pic

Hey all i was wondering if you could help me id a critter i seen in my tank last night, it looking like a worm of some kind, had a black head(at least it think it was the head lol) was less than an inch long, and was swimming ( Looked like a corkscrew when it swam) the body was kinda a grayish peach. Any ideas? Before anyone asks no i cant get a pic i have no dig camera.
