hammer coral - attempt to grow on dead branches

i have two pieces of hammer coral. a few of them have dead branches which are dried up.

is there any way for me to remove some of the coral from the healthy branch and get it to grow on the dead ones?

unfortunately no, but if they are in a healthy tank don't worry they can grow exceptionally fast. i have seen branching colonys grow from a few polyps to monster colonys in less than a year.
