Approching 2 month anniversary

My 80G reef tank will be 2 months old early next month. So far things have progressed pretty much as I envisioned them. I got good equipment, and lucked into 85lbs of some great LR.
Other than a Sea Hare that I just couldn't do without during the Algae bloom a few weeks ago, I'v resisted the temptation to add more life. I had high hopes of waiting 6 months before I started populating the tank, but with this anniversary comming up... I'm getting twitchy. I know the tank could support modest bioloads for some time now thanks to the quality of the LR I puchased. Anyway.... now I'v lost my train of thought......
Oh right, the 2 month anniversary, couple of questions.... I'v been noticing that one particulary nice piece of rock that was completly covered with Coraline Algae now seems to be turning white. It's a flatish piece... and what's turning white is the upper portion, facing the MH's... they're only 150's but is it possible that I'm bleaching it if it's too close to the surface?
Also, looking a year down the road, what I would love to see is a thriving tank dominated by blatant symbiotic relationships. This is something I promised my kids.... they already know Nemo, they just can't understand why it's taking so long Love to hear of some examples of this for the Reef (other than the obvious ones)

Well patience is a great virtue!! Good job on that

I think you deserve to treat yourself to an anemone/clownfish... what sort of lighting do you have?

I would stock your fish over the next month or two then start considering adding some corals. But I would definitely consider a clownfish/anemone combo - it should keep your kids occupied for a while

This will give you a good place to start on pairing your clown with its anemone:

Good luck and have fun!
