distilled or RO
I believe you can use either distilled or RO. I have used both succesfully. The distilled water that I buy from wal-mart (Great Value Brand) says:
"Processed by: Carbon Filtration, reverse osmosis, distillation, UV treatment, microfiltration, and ozonation." I have heard that distilled may require bore buffering than RO. |

Distilled water is perfectly fine. RO/DI water is easier to make at home, though, and probably costs less in the long run.

Some distilled water is run thru copper coils, it is risky to add distilled water without first testing it for copper.
