Phosphate?
Hi,I was wondering where the phosphate that we remove from our tanks comes from in the first place,is it a bi-product of some sort or just naturally present in our water?

main sources are fish food and tap water.

Cool,so if it isn't removed what are the consequences?Stunted coral growth,algae........????

A lot of Algae....most likely HAIR algae.
