Ro?

I have a generic ro di 6 stage system I got from ebay called aqua safe maxiumus 11 ..and I has a coconut filter after the di so I am gettin a tds 15 in my faucet due to backflow..I am wondering if a Tee and a shutt off vavle between those two filter would create any back flow into the canister filters before the auto shutt off.? I am thinking doing that to cut down on tds..thus shutting the flow off to coconut filter when making tank water..

Torpedo - I'm not sure if I follow your qustion...

But assuming you have a 6 stage system with a horizontal DI and a in-line GAC after the DI, and that you want to get DI water for your tank and RO water to a faucet:

Place a tee in the line coming out of the RO purified water port. One side of the tee should go to the DI, The ohter side of the tee should go to a check valve, and then on to another tee. One side of this tee should go to the valve on a pressure tank. The other side of this tee should go to the inline GAC. The other side of the in-line GAC should go to the faucet.

Thanks Russ ...what I have now is RO membrane.auto shutt off..to DI resin>>>TEE goes to pressure tank and taste filter..So trying to decide where or what to put where..thanks mary
