Mommy...

Where do baby snails come from?

...No seriously, do they lay eggs or what? What do the eggs look like?

I saw a baby snail and I want to identify an egg or pregnant mother snail that it came from.

I hope there are more! (are there usually more if one is seen?).

Thanks,
logan

Snails generally lay eggs.

There are also hitchhiker snails that are very small, called collonista snails that you may be seeing. They're whitish and look like really small turbo snails (in shape).
