Snails?

I was wondering what kind of snails you have and what they eat in your tank.

THX in advance

I recommend trochus, nerites, ceriths, and nassarius (if you have a sand bed).
IME:
Nerites and ceriths are the only ones I know that tend to eat cyanobacteria. Ceriths also do a good job on diatoms (and other algae). Nassarius eat detritus and food missed during feeding. Trochus eat the green and brown film algae (and diatoms). Sometimes Turbos eat hair algae, but they may knock over corals so I don't keep them.

How deep of a sand bed do you need for nassarius? I have about 2 inches, is that enough?
