would you buy coral from an LFS with green bubble algae in the frag tank?

I was at my LFS and saw some pieces I wanted to buy but noticed some green bubble algae on other pieces (not on any I wanted) in the tank. I decided to hold off on that purchase until I got more info. Would a FW dip kill any GBA that was on them or should I forget about them.

If the GBA is on the rock/plug where coral is I would still buy it and remove it at home with a toothbrush( try to avoid popping it). Do this out of your tank water (preferably in a tupperware container with the water it came in from the LFS/ or while you acclimate) Do not remove the GBA or pop away once its in your tank... If you missed some GBA remove coral out of tank and repeat step above.

God Luck

bubble algae is nothing serious.

try nudibranch and sundial snails on that zoanthids you would love to take home.

that'll really make you think twice.

thanks guys. I've seemed to avoid the nudis with the FW/iodine dip. Does that work for sundials too?
