I've never been all that hot on O3 myself but many reefers testify it produces far clearer water than even running carbon.

Here is Randy's series of articles on the subject.

Ozone 1
Ozone 2
Ozone 3.

He likes it more than I do and there was some discussion on the Chemistry forum between us.

I've never used ozone nor have i personally seen a tank with it . I"m sure it has it's places in the hobby but I doubt it an absolute necessity.

I agree Papagimp. If you got the bucks then give it a try. On a budget; there are bigger and better things to add to you tank. Also, your will need to feed more often as ozonated water is nearly sterile.

well... it's hard to suggest without knowing what you have....?

I'd say the biggest band for the buck comes from the following.

#1 Refugium
#2 More Flow
#3 More (higher quality) light
#4 RO/DI (would be #1 if you don't have it)

Tell us what you have and what you want to do and maybe we can throw some ideas out
