problem with snails getting stuck in 6100

I have a couple of 6100's and probably once a week I have to get a snail out from inside the pump.

The other day an emarald got in there and it kiilled it.

I have the pumps inside the rock housing that tunze sells. The fact that the rock sits on top of the live rocks probably is what allows them easy access to the pumps.

Is there a screen out there for this purpose or can I make something up to put in front of it?

Yes, part 6080.20 and the screens should still work with the rocks.
