Custom Aquatic is a good “one stop shop.” Here are a few items you may be considering:
• UVL Super Actinic (VHO): http://www.customaquatic.com/customa...d=LT-UR40-03-V • UVL Super Actinic (T5): http://www.customaquatic.com/customa...id=LT-URF54-03 • ATI Blue Plus (T5): http://www.customaquatic.com/customa...id=LT-SG531010 Note that the UVL T5 Super Actinic can be overdriven to 85 watts. |

I'm curious, why are you mixing VHO and T5?
I have 4 X 54W T5HO on my 55 and its plenty of light. More energy efficient as well.... |

Because I don't want to spend 240 today instead of 120. Already have two 110 vho with new bulbs. When those get old i'll probably replae with T5. Don't really have a valid reason for switching to T5 from the VHOs ive had for 6 years with no problems GROWING lps and softies, except for curiosity. Plus I don't think it will hurt to change my 40s for t5s cause the bulbs need to be replaced anyways. Ordered last night 2 UVL Super Actinic 2 Icecap SLR and endcaps from reefgeek.
