Foam Covers

I ordered new foam covers for the wet side. One came in with a ring from the washer that was shipped with it and a nic out of one side. Also i am not sure about shipping charges it cost me 5.00 to have you ship 2 foam covers and 2 washers the envelope says 1.25 or so and the cost of packaging looks to be about 1.00 at most. so why 5.00 ? anyway i am still in need of 1 foam cover that is not damaged.

Foam covers? We have not shipped any foam covers. I'm sorry but I'm not certain what you are referring to?

bayreef-

You never received a foam cover. I believe the part you are referring to is the wet frame cover

If this is not correct, please consult your owner's manual and try and figure out exactly which part you are referring to.

The nick out of one side of the wet frame cover that you received is nothing to worry about, that's just the way some of them are. Usually it's from clipping the sprue off of the part and doesn't affect the part's functionality in any way.

Anyway, if there was an error on our part and only one wet frame cover was shipped instead of two, I'm sure that Dave will act on it immediately on Monday.

Icecap did indeed ship 2 "plastic wet frame covers". Your post sounded as if it was for the new foam nozzle covers which are not shipping as yet. Having a ring imprint will have no affect on the wet frame cover and as Tim said, the nick is not a problem and will not affect the functionality.

ok guys sorry for the wording error , i did however correct myself in a previous post. I have both wet frame covers , I would please ask you to advise your shipping department not to put anything in between the foam covers like a washer or whatever, it makes an imprint. And while this may not effect the funtionality it is avoidable altogether. Thanks

on a separate note I would like to recognize both Ice Cap and Ecotech for the outstanding customer service (on a saturday at that!) Sorry for the confusion
